Defluoridating: It is used to defluoridate of drinking water and other industrial equipment's.

Hydrogen Peroxide: Activated alumina is a special adsorbent for hydrogen peroxide made by anthraquinonoid method.

Adsorbent: Activated alumina is widely used to eliminate the metal ion impurities in hydrocarbon, adsorption of hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, other gases, and in decolor purification of organic liquid.

Sulfur Recovery: Activated alumina is used in Claus process for the recovery of sulfur from acidic gas in petrochemical industry.

Zinc Oxide Desulfurizer: Activated alumina is used in the purification process in the production of hydrogen, ammonium and synthetic wood alcohol from natural gas, light oil, coking gas and catalytic dry vapor by applying conversion method.
