Cetane Booster

The cetane booster is used to modify the flexibility of fuel, profitably of operation, ignition performance and increase fuel emission. nitrates, nitroalkanes, nitrocarbonates and peroxide are few examples of cetane boosters. In fact, a Cetane booster has the ability to decompose itself at lower temperature than fuel. The exothermic decomposition property of the cetane booster leads to the start of the ignition at low temperatures.
