Flowing of refined desulphurized fuels with high flow rates cause to rapidly electrostatic charges build up. Anti-Static agents have the ability to enhance the surface conductivity to prevent occurrence of electrostatic charges. The structure of an Anti-agent consists of both hydrophobic and hydrophilic areas. The hydrophilic area of the anti-static agent interacts with the moisture to form a layer of water on the surface. Consequently, the formed layer of water act as conductive path for vanishing electrostatic charge.
