Strainer

Most cost effective, T Type strainer uses perforated wire or mesh to trap unwanted solids from a process stream. T type strainer can be mounted vertically or horizontally in a piping system.T Type strainer are low cost solution to large nominal bore straining requirements.

T type strainer are commonly used in pipelines to prevent damage of Gauges, pumps, control valves, Flow meters and other process equipment.

• Fabricated T type strainer from 2” to 24” (larger sizes are available)

• Designed in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1.

• Standard design pressures include 150psi, 300psi and ANSI 150 & 300. (Higher pressure available on request).

• Hinged covers are available for quick opening.

Basket strainer consist of a removable Screen which can easily be removed from the top.Basket Strainer are used to trap suspended solids and particulate too large to be caught by most filter media. Basket strainer temporarily disrupt a system when cleaning is required.

If disruption to your system is unacceptable, duplex strainers (2 basket strainer arrangement) allow the system to run without any interruption by redirecting flow to an alternate basket when the other reaches capacity.

Duplex strainer or Dual Basket strainer have cleanable basket which trap suspended solids.

Duplex strainer system usually consists of two separate strainer baskets housed. Duplex Strainer system also contains a valve handle placed between the two baskets to divert the flow of liquid to one strainer while the other is being cleaned. On some Duplex strainer, the valve will work automatically or manual valves can also be used.

Duplex strainer are installed in the pipeline systems where flow cannot be stopped.

More cost effective, Conical Strainers strainer are temporary Strainers used mostly before start up of a Plant use perforated wire or mesh to trap suspended solids from a process stream.Conical strainers are usually installed horizontally in a piping system.

Conical strainer are commonly used in pipelines to prevent damage of Gauges, pumps, control valves, Flow meters and other process equipment.

• Fabricated Conical strainers from 2” to 24” (larger sizes are available)

• Designed in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1.

• Standard design pressures include 150#.

• Conical strainer available in CS,CSRL,SS304,SS316,Duplex,Super Duplex.

• Conical strainer are available in both Basket type and Cone Type Temporary Strainers.
