Foaming in refinery processes cause to several functional problems. The occurrence of Foaming is possible in both aqueous and non-aqueous solutions and in a diversity of process such as distillation, extraction, gas and liquid scrubbing, and other separations. Anti-Foam is used to prevent the formation of foam and for elimination of formed mass of bubbles in a liquid.
